A lovely old character cottage in tiny Drift village, 3 miles from Penzance, West Cornwall. 3 miles to the beaches at Penzance and 4 miles to the large sandy beaches and St Michael’s Mount at Marazion. Mousehole fishing village (a favourite with authors) & Newlyn are a few miles and well known St Ives is 9 miles. 'Govail', once the village's blacksmiths, is a small semi-detached cottage in a country setting, appealingly furnished in cottage style with some original beamed ceilings and other character features. Attractive rural walks and footpaths lead from the cottage. There is an enclosed and very pretty rear garden having trees, shrubs & flowers, garden table and chairs.

Accommodation

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed and 1 cushion bed (for 1 child). Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Maximum of 4 people only, no children under 5 years please. The lounge/diner has a T.V. , DVD, with a dining table seating 2. The small sun conservatory has seating and small table suitable for summer months. The kitchen/diner has an electric cooker, a microwave, tiny dishwasher, a fridge/freezer & dining table fseating 4. Washing machine. The downstairs bathroom has a bath, overhead shower, washbasin & toilet.

Miscellaneous

No children under 5 years. Plenty of parking for 2 cars in free Chapel car park opposite holiday cottage (always plenty of room). 1 dog welcome.

Linen and electric inclusive. Heating by coal fire in lounge (fuel from local shop, first bag free) and wall mounted electric heaters in bedrooms, kitchen and lounge area.
