Description

An old character farmhouse amidst beautiful countryside, right on the Devon/ Cornwall border just outside Pyworthy village 3 miles from Holsworthy, North Devon. Bude beach resort 10 miles. A large and very comfortable semi-detached farmhouse on Yeomadon Farm. Roomy, with many original features and a large private garden. On a traditional working beef farm, in an attractive countryside setting. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the picturesque walks around the farm’s fields, lakes and woodland. A short stroll to free fishing on the farm’s 4 lakes with carp up to 20 lbs and tench, roach, bream and crucian carp. Can also play tennis on the farm's own tennis court. Lots to do in the area and within reach of the Eden Project (just over 1 hours drive away); Dartmoor and the coastal footpath walks; National Trust properties and gardens; Roadford Reservoir for water sports and walks; Clovelly and Dartington Crystal where you can watch the glassware being made. Holsworthy has a leisure centre with indoor pool, shops and pubs and large park. There is a rear verandah with seating overlooking the rear lawn.

Accommodation

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed (King size). Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 4 has bunk beds. Have to walk through bedroom 4 to get to bedroom 1. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/ freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Large lounge/diner with a 28” wide screen T.V. (digital Freeview channels), DVD Player and Radio & CD Player. There is a small snooker table in the house. The bathroom has a bath, power shower unit & toilet. There is also a downstairs shower room with shower unit and washbasin and a separate downstairs toilet & washbasin.

Adjacent parking for 4 cars. 2 dogs welcome (please do not leave unattended in cottage).

2 Cots. Linen inclusive. Woodburner in lounge (first bag of logs inclusive-further logs available at cost). Oil-fired central heating and hot water are inclusive. Electric by £1 electric meter.
