Description
By the beach, with lovely sea views. ‘Beach View Cottage’ is a pretty, renovated semi-detached cottage at Widemouth Bay a few miles south of Bude, North Cornwall. A peaceful rural setting by a large & secluded sandy beach at the southern end of Widemouth Bay. Just one of 2 cottages, with excellent views of sea and waves from the bedroom and living area. Ground floor accommodation, the adjoining cottage being next door and above. A 3 minutes stroll along the lane to the beach or take the enjoyable 4 minutes stroll via the public footpath which is only 200 yards from the cottage. Superb coastal & cliff walks. A 4 minutes stroll to excellent Brockmoor Hotel pub and restaurant and a short walk up the hill to the large Widemouth Manor which again has a restaurant and bar, also outdoor seating and childrens play area. 4 excellent restaurants at Widemouth Bay including the Beach Hotel known for its lobster menu and the popular 'Elements';a reflection of Widemouth Bay's increasing popularity as a quality destination. On the neighbouring beaches there are 2 quality cafes with plenty of car parking space . A short walk to a general stores shop but for those looking for extensive town or shop amenities Bude beach resort is nearby.
Accommodation
Bedroom 1 (King size) has 1 double bed, a futon single bed (can also go in living area), a children's mattress available, and an en-suite shower room with shower unit, washbasin & toilet. Good size open plan living area with kitchen area at one end. The kitchen area has a gas hob, a free standing electric oven & grill, microwave and a fridge. Lounge/dining area with T.V., with DVD slot. Also a small front room. There is a pleasant tiny patio area with table and chairs (a sun trap).

Parking in driveway for 1 car. 2 dogs welcome (dogs are welcome on the holiday cottage beach & other Widemouth Bay beaches).

Gas inclusive. Heating by a night storage heater in bedroom & living area. £1 electric meter.
