High standard ‘Thornton Lodge’, a detached bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac setting, is situated just outside St Merryn Village, 3 miles from Padstow, Cornwall. Just 2 & a half miles from the lovely beaches at Trevone; many other excellent beaches such as Harlyn & Tregarne within 5 miles. This is probably the best stretch of beaches in cornwall,with a magnificent coastline. Padstow is a delightful fishing village, now more widely known courtesy of the T.V. chef Rick Stein who has a fish restaurant in the village. Mackerel fishing trips available from Padstow & there is a ferry which will take you across the estuary to the beaches at Rock. Tiny St Merryn has good pubs, cafes & shops. Only a short walk to an Indian restaurant with a bar above.The bungalow has panoramic views over surrounding countryside and boasts a good size fully enclosed garden with barbecue area and.

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 has bunk beds (no wardrobe). Duvets. Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge & spin dryer. No washing machine. Lounge/diner with T.V. Bathroom with bath, overhead shower, toilet & washbasin. Small front sun lounge with sun loungers.

Miscellaneous

Non-smoking. There is adjacent off the road parking space (a fenced parking area and can shut car behind gate), with other paking on lane outside. No pets. There is a £50 returnable deposit payable with the final payment,

Facilities

Easy to keep warm (double glazing) with wall fitted electric convector heaters in bedrooms and lounge/diner. Lounge/diner also has an economy 7 night storage heater & electric fire. Electric Key meter with starter electric provided (can recharge in St Merryn village shoponly half a mile away).
