A charming character 19th cent stone cottage,The Homecroft is situated in the ancient village of Stratton, next to Bude, North Cornwall. Under 2 miles to the excellent beaches. Stratton is a pretty and rather quaint historic and traditional cornish village of 17th & 18th century old stone cottages. A few minutes stroll to the village shop and the superb well known Tree Inn with its courtyard, bars & restaurant, with 1 other pub in the village. A semi-detached cottage on a quieter side lane, the cottage is spacious & has been refurbished over the last few years in a pleasing cottage style. A small enclosed front lawn. Also a side patio garden with garden furniture. Local attractions include Pixieland for younger children, the amenities of Bude beach resort and the Tamar Lakes for water sports. Walkers will enjoy the miles of classic sandy beaches, breakwater & cliff walks; with attractive country footpaths and lanes leading from the village.
