Description

The Stables is situated on Yeomadon Farm near Pyworthy village, 3 miles from Holsworthy market town and 8 miles from Bude and the North Cornwall coast. This traditional beef farm is on the beautiful Cornwall/Devon border. The Stables is a detached split-level property with a large conservatory in addition to a spacious living area and its own private garden and parking. The property retains its original charcter with old beams and stonework. Visitors are welcome to enjoy picturesque walks around the farm’s fields, lakes and woodland. Coarse fishing inclusive. A short stroll to free fishing on the farm’s 4 lakes with carp up to 20 lbs and tench, roach, bream and crucian carp Visitors also have free use of the farm’s grass tennis court. Plenty of things to do and see in the area as well as the local beaches including the Eden Project (just over 1 hours drive away); Dartmoor and the coastal footpaths for walking; National Trust properties and gardens; Roadford Reservoir for water sports and walks; Clovelly and Dartington Crystal where you can watch the glassware being made. Holsworthy has a leisure centre with indoor pool, shops & pubs and a large park. Large private lawn with garden furniture.

Accommodation

Downstairs: Bedroom 1 has 1 King size double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Also 1 understairs single bed not in a bedroom. Bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, toilet and washbasin. Upstairs entrance into conservatory with washing machine and tumble dryer. Up steps to kitchen/diner with electric cooker, microwave and fridge. Lounge with T.V. (freeview), DVD player and radio/CD player.

Miscellaneous

Off road adjacent parking for 3 cars. 2 dogs welcome (please do not leave dogs unattended in the cottage). Coarse fishing inclusive.

Facilities

Cot. Linen inclusive. Heating by electric panel heaters and two large storage heaters (inclusive and available from Sept 26 to April 25 - £5 per week if required for other weeks). Electric by £1 coin meter.
