An attractive 17th century character cottage in tiny Lansallos village, 2.5 miles from Polperro & 7 miles from the fishing village & beach at Looe, East Cornwall. The cottage has been modernised in recent years retaining original features such as exposed beams and window seat (a grade 3 listed building). One of a terrace of 4 cottages on a quiet side road. Lansallos is in a National Trust area and is well known as a beauty spot, a favourite with ramblers. A few 100 yards from the cottage, just past the old church, is a 20 minutes walk along a pretty, tree lined footpath through fields to Lansallos beach. Stunning coastal walks along this National Trust coastline to Polruan and beyond. Polperro is the prettiest & most photogenic of all Cornish fishing villages. Narrow streets. The colour washed cottages cling to the steep sides of a long ravine & surround the harbour. A smugglers museum. Chat to the fishermen or watch the catches being landed at the fish quay. Small front lawn. Large enclosed rear lawn with surrounding trees and hedge. Also a rear patio with seating and a small front garden.

Accommodation

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed & built in wardrobe with beautiful views over fields. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 has 1 single bed. Bedroom 3 is small, has no wardrobe & may be more suitable for a child. It has no window of its own but shares a window with bedroom 1, hence noise will travel between the two bedrooms. Bedrooms 1 & 3 are accessed by a small internal landing. Downstairs bathroom with bath, toilet, washbasin & fan heater. Beamed lounge/diner with window seat, colour T.V. Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine.

Off the road parking space 50 yds at end of terrace. No pets.
